The gantry-type laser cutting machine has two forms of motion. One is that the gantry moves during machining but the table is fixed, and the other is that the gantry is fixed and the table is moved. For large format, high speed and high performance laser cutting machines, the first form is usually used because the table is moved with the workpiece and is not suitable for cutting high speed and thick plates. The bilateral drive of fiber laser cutting machine ensures that the beam is balanced and the beam runs synchronously.
